# Links Actions
Update links, Relink to cloud, Relink to local, and other link actions
Each link in the Links dialog has three dots on the right side that you can click to access the link's actions.
### Individual or multiple links
The following are link actions that can be performed on individual links or on multiple selected links:
* Sync
* Upload
* Relink to cloud
* Relink to local
* Show details
* Go to link
Link actions vary based on each file’s current status. The menu only shows actions supported for that specific link.
When you select multiple links, LinkrUI shows only actions that work for every selected file. To prevent you from applying an action that would fail for part of the selection, actions that are not supported by every file are hidden.
#### Sync
Select Sync to update modified links when you want to sync your local file and cloud asset.
After you select Sync, LinkrUI either opens a dialog if the link's status is local newer or conflict, or downloads the new version without asking you first if the status is cloud newer.
For example, if you have a modified link whose status is conflict, choose which version to keep:
* Select Update to override the cloud version with your local changes.
* Select Reset to discard your local changes and download the cloud version.
* Select Do nothing to close the dialog without syncing.
#### Upload

Upload is only available for links with local status.

**To upload from the links dialog**
1. Select the three dots next to the local link and select Upload.
2. In the Upload dialog, fill in required fields and then select Upload.
After the upload completes, LinkrUI automatically relinks your Adobe document to the cloud asset. The link status then changes to valid.
#### Relink to cloud
The Relink to cloud option enables you to relink any local link in the Links dialog to an asset in your DAM.
When you select Relink to cloud, LinkrUI searches the DAM for assets matching the linked filename.\
Matching assets appear with previews and dates.

### Find cloud matches
Select the three dots next to the local link in the Links dialog, and choose Relink to cloud.
If LinkrUI finds cloud results that match the link name, it shows the best matches in a drop-down list. If no matches were found, the message "*No results were found"* is displayed.

### Choose an asset
If LinkrUI found results, review the previews and dates of each match.
If the expected asset is not listed, use ⌕ to Search In Panel for the correct asset in the DAM.\
You can also use the search bar on top to search for replacements if no matches were found.\
When you find the file you want to relink instead of this link, select Place on that file for it to replace your current link.

### Confirm the replacement
Click the ✓ to approve the selected link. The link is then replaced and relinked
Click the × to cancel relinking.

#### Relink to local
The Relink to local option enables you to replace a link with a different local source file.
**To relink to local**
1. Select the three dots next to the link in the Links dialog, and choose Relink to local.
2. In the dialog, locate and double-click the new source file.
Your link is now linked to the new file on your device.
#### Show details
To open the Details view of the selected link, select Show details.
#### Go to link
To go to the link in your document, select Go to link.
### Bulk operations
If you have multiple links that need the same action, LinkrUI supports bulk operations for Sync all, Relink to local, Relink to cloud, and Upload all.
#### Sync all
Select Sync all to sync every modified link between your local files and cloud assets.
LinkrUI then opens a dialog for each link, based on its current status. Choose Update, Reset, or Do nothing for each link.
#### Relink all to cloud
1. Select Relink all to cloud at the top-right of the Links dialog.
2. Select ✓ to **Approve all** or × to **Cancel all**.
#### Relink all to local
1. Select Relink all to local at the top-right of the Links dialog.
2. In the dialog, select the folder where LinkrUI should search for links.
3. If the selected folder contains matching filenames, LinkrUI replaces the links.
#### Upload all
1. Select Upload all at the top-right of the Links dialog.
2. In the upload dialog, select Upload.
3. All local links upload to the cloud.
After the uploads complete, LinkrUI automatically relinks the links to the cloud assets in your document. The status changes to valid.
All uploaded files are now relinked with the cloud.
#### Unembed a linked file
To unembed a linked file, select Unembed.
To embed it again, or to embed another link, select the **Adobe** Links dialog → Embed Link.
