# Sort

Choose how assets are ordered in LinkrUI.

By default, assets in LinkrUI are sorted based on the DAM's default settings.

### Sort Assets

1. Select the <kbd>sort dropdown list</kbd> located in the bottom of the LinkrUI panel.
2. Choose a different value and/or an ascending or descending order.

Your assets will now be sorted based on the new sort values.

The available sort fields and directions are returned by the connected DAM.

If AI search is enabled for Bynder, sorting is disabled. Hover over the sort menu to see the instruction to turn off AI search.

Sorting can also be applied while browsing a collection for supported DAMs.

### Change or reset sorting

To reset the sort values, manually click the sort drop-down menu again and select another value.
